DESCRIPTION:We start our year by welcoming back Tim Syrad. Tim is well known to many of our members as both an excellent presenter and also an organiser of great wine tours. This time\, Tim will present a selection of wines from the Ribera region of Spain. Situated in the north west of the country\, the Ribera is one of Spain’s most prestigious wine regions. Whilst there is some white wine made\, the focus is predominantly on the reds and the tempranillo grape dominates. Through his many tours to the Ribera\, Tim has access to some great wines and we look forward to tasting some of the best tonight. \nMembers: £15.  Guests: £18. \nWelcome drink from 7.45pm.  Tasting starts at 8pm. \nPlease book in advance for this tasting by e-mailing the Secretary. \nBookings are open to members from Saturday 28th December 2019.   Bookings are open to guests from Friday 3rd January 2020\, assuming places are remaining. \nWe prefer that you pay for your tasting in advance by electronic banking.  Please note that if you pay the monthly tasting fee by this method\, then you still need to book your places by e-mail. \nClick here for details of how to pay electronically
