This month we're delighted to welcome Aaron Irons, who is presenting to our Society for the first time. Aaron is Regional Sales Manager for Condor Wines, who are an independent specialist importer of South American wines. Aaron has been in the wine business since 2007 and is currently preparing to take the Master of Wine qualification. We've asked Aaron to focus specifically on the wines of Argentina. So, whilst there will be a few whites, expect plenty of Argentinian reds!Find out more »
Washington is the second largest wine producing state in the USA. So it's perhaps surprising that our Society has not had a tasting of Washington State wines in the past. We'll put that right this month as we welcome Craig Mitchell, who is European Ambassador for Chateau Ste. Michelle winery. The winery is the oldest in Washington State, initially named Ste. Michelle Vintners, but changed its name to Chateau Ste. Michelle in 1976 following the building of a French style chateau in Woodinville, just outside Seattle. The winery aims to build on old world winemaking traditions with new world innovation. There are two state-of-the-art wineries, one for red and one for white.Find out more »

We look forward to welcoming back Tony Hill, Owner of Bordeaux and Beyond. Tony will take us on a "Wine Tour de France", covering many different appellations, some famous and some not so famous. Tony will give the story behind the wines and the reasons why he decided to import them. Bordeaux and Beyond are a specialist wine importer, concentrating on wines from small independent vignerons in France, not usually available elsewhere. Bordeaux and Beyond are a web based business, now in their 11th year of trading. They continue to sell only wines that they import and, more importantly, happy to drink themselves!Find out more »
