Tonight we will welcome Andrew Walker, Director of Solaris Wines, who is presenting to us for the first time.

Solaris is an independent wine retailer and they are proud of that!  Andrew’s aim is to seek out fascinating wines and passionate producers.  He has visited every vineyard on their list and knows each winemaker personally.  So we are sure to hear plenty about the personalities involved.

Andrew will present his choice of wines from Slovenia and Romania.   Regular members will know that the Whitewater Valley Wine Society has recently had presentations of both Slovakian and Ukrainian wines….and we’ve been very impressed with the wines from both countries.   And I have no doubt that we will find that the wines from Slovenia and Romania are equally impressive and affordable.

So it’s going to be another great evening!

Booking for members opens on Thursday 28th May.   Guest bookings open on Thursday 4th June.   Please do not try to book or pay any money before these dates.
