The Society’s 30th Anniversary Dinner
The Whitewater Valley Wine Society celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2017 and our main celebration event of the year will be our black tie dinner. The venue for our special evening will be Elvetham Hotel, located in Hartley Wintney, just a few miles from Hook. Elvetham Hotel is a stunning, privately owned estate, set in 35 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds.
We are delighted to announce that our guest speaker will be Robin McMillan, who is Chief Executive Officer at The Wine Society. Robin has been CEO of The Wine Society for four years and has worked in the wine trade for more than 25 years. So this will be a great opportunity to hear Robin talk about the opportunities and challenges associated with running a society which for over 140 years has been solely owned by its members. There will also be an opportunity to ask Robin questions.
